The end.

A long tunnel
Dark and cold awaits
For each and everyone
Who have truly lived their lives
In a few moments
For someone
High and mighty
Created so called balance
Forcing everyone who reaps
To sow
Everyone who laughs
To mourn
And everyone with a story
To finally put a full stop
In his hopefully never ending cycle.

And every great story comes to an end,
With a long guitar solo
Harsh words
Mild pause
And an echoing in the backdrops
Screaming the pain that can't be flushed
The subconscious simply spilling dreams
To calm the human body and soul
While one desperately hangs on
To something that ceases to exist

Trying to forget
Is nothing but an illusion
Created to calm those
Who cannot face the world as it is.

I wish things did not have to end in such a way that two people who have shared laughs and tears would end up being so bitter towards each other, with one always begging and the other unyielding, and the roles often interchanged. I wish sometimes when I miss you as a friend and I want to pick up the phone and say hello I didn't have to think so much and then in the end, decide against it. There is an end to all sorts of things but when you give and take so much of yourselves one hopes that some sort of fondness and friendship would last a while. Unfortunately that never happens. Ego and oneupmanship come in the way most times, and the one who wants to break the ice never ends up trying. I wanted to try once when I was ahead but it was too soon for him and I don't blame anyone.

Yes I don't blame anyone at the end of the day, when the sun is setting and everyone's gone home, you know no matter what happened there were some moments that were absolutely true and pure.

And no matter how much hurt was endured I know how much that counts.

I am too afraid to ask for friendship because I am too afraid I will be misinterpreted and that it is still too soon for you, or maybe it's too late for us to be friends maybe the first step to moving on is hating. I knew you that much.

Good bye, good bye.
